MoEVing partners with Tata Motors to deploy 700 electric vehicles for zero-emission deliveries across India

In a major step toward sustainable logistics, MoEVing, one of India’s leading electric fleet operators, has announced the deployment of 700 Tata Motors electric commercial vehicles for zero-emission urban deliveries across more than ten Indian cities, including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, and Bengaluru. The deployment involves Tata’s Ace EV and Ace EV Pro, both designed for efficient and clean last-mile logistics.

The collaboration is part of a new business model in which Tata Motors’ dealerships will own and maintain the vehicles, while MoEVing will manage operations and driver deployment for its enterprise clients. This structure aims to make EV adoption more seamless for logistics companies by removing upfront cost and maintenance barriers.

MoEVing already serves over 20 enterprise customers across sectors like e-commerce, FMCG, and logistics. With the new Tata Motors EV fleet, the company expects to cover more than 25 million kilometres annually, cutting over 2,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions every year, a strong contribution to India’s net-zero ambitions.

The partnership also strengthens Tata Motors’ position as a dominant player in India’s electric commercial vehicle segment. The automaker continues to build on its success with the Ace EV lineup, offering practical range, low operating costs, and charging flexibility for city deliveries.

With this expansion, MoEVing’s total fleet now exceeds 2,500 electric vehicles, making it one of the largest zero-emission logistics operators in the country. The company plans to scale further, focusing on Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities as India’s clean mobility transition accelerates.
