TVS Launches New Orbiter EV Stylish & Smart Scooter, Made for City Rides at ₹99,900

TVS Motor Company has introduced its latest electric scooter, the TVS Orbiter, with an attractive price tag of ₹99,900 (ex-showroom, inclusive of the PM e-Drive scheme). Positioned as the entry-level offering under the existing iQube lineup, this new model is aimed at first-time EV buyers and urban commuters.

The Orbiter runs on a 3.1 kWh battery pack and promises a claimed range of 158 km per full charge as per IDC metrics, though real-world usage could see around 120 km in everyday conditions. It offers a top speed of 68 km/h, powered by a rear-hub BLDC motor rated around 2.5 kW.

Despite being budget-friendly, the Orbiter comes loaded with cool, convenient features. It includes cruise control, hill-hold assist, reverse parking assist, and two ride modes, Eco and Power. Its digital display offers Bluetooth connectivity for navigation, theft alerts, OTA updates, and more.

Practical touches include 34 litre underseat storage, a long 845mm seat, 14-inch front wheels, and a modern flat-foot design for comfort.

The Orbiter arrives in six vibrant dual-tone colours: Neon Sunburst, Stratos Blue, Lunar Grey, Stellar Silver, Cosmic Titanium, and Martian Copper adding youthful energy to urban commuting. TVS is now accepting bookings across its website and dealerships nationwide.
