JSW MG Motor India has officially launched the MG Windsor EV Pro, an upgraded version of its popular electric SUV, with bookings starting from May 8, 2025. The key highlight is the new 52.9 kWh lithium-ion battery, a significant increase from the previous 38 kWh pack, boosting the claimed driving range to 449 km on a single charge. The powertrain remains the same, delivering 136 PS and 200 Nm torque, with a top speed of 170 km/h and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 8.6 seconds.

The Windsor EV Pro introduces several premium features, including a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) offering adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and traffic jam assist. It also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging technologies, allowing users to power external devices and share energy between vehicles. Comfort upgrades include ventilated front seats with power adjustment, a powered tailgate, and refreshed dual-tone ivory interiors with faux wood inserts. The exterior features new dual-tone alloy wheels and three new color options.

Priced at an introductory ₹17.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 8,000 bookings, the Windsor EV Pro is positioned as a premium electric SUV with enhanced range and technology, catering to customers seeking a longer-range, feature-rich EV in India’s growing market. The model is expected to also be available under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) scheme, helping reduce upfront costs for buyers
