Honda has taken a major step into high-performance electric motorcycles with the WN7, its first-ever all-electric naked sport bike, unveiled at the 2025 EICMA Motorcycle Show. The WN7 marks a bold expansion of Honda’s electric lineup, following its earlier models – the EM1 e: and CUV e: scooters.

The WN7 delivers impressive performance with 67 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque, making it comparable to a 600cc internal combustion bike. It uses a 9.3 kWh battery that provides up to 140 km of range on a full charge, while a Type 2 fast charger boosts its charge from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

Unlike traditional bikes, the WN7 features a frameless design, using its central aluminum battery case as the main structural component, which reduces weight and improves flexibility. The low battery positioning also lowers the center of gravity, enhancing agility and balance.

Honda has equipped the WN7 with premium features such as a five-inch TFT display, Honda RoadSync connectivity, selectable riding modes, speed limit assist, and a reverse “walking mode” for easier manoeuvring in tight spaces. It also sports a sleek design highlighted by a horizontal LED light bar, dual front disc brakes, Pro-Arm rear suspension, and a two-tone color finish.

The WN7 will be produced at Honda’s Kumamoto Factory in Japan, with phased launches in markets where EV adoption is advancing. The model represents Honda’s growing focus on electrified sport motorcycles, blending performance, design, and sustainability in one package.
