Gujarat-based Bacancy Systems has unveiled a 1.92 MW distributed EV charging system, designed to support India’s fast-growing electric mobility sector, especially fleets and heavy-duty vehicles. The system focuses on efficiency, scalability, and smarter power use, aiming to make large-scale charging more practical and cost-effective.

At the heart of the setup is a central dispenser that can connect to six dual-gun splitter units. Power is delivered in flexible 40 kW increments, with real-time load balancing to avoid overloads and improve reliability. This modular approach lets businesses distribute energy across multiple chargers without relying on bulky, oversized systems.

Co-founder Krunal Patel explained that the design addresses everyday challenges for fleet operators by cutting infrastructure costs and making it easier to scale as demand grows. The solution is built with depots, transit hubs, and high-density charging sites in mind, where space and efficiency are crucial.

The new system adds to Bacancy’s existing EV hardware portfolio, which includes AC/DC charger controllers, EV simulators, and battery management systems. Looking ahead, the company plans to roll out higher-capacity dispensers with air and liquid-cooled options to keep up with rising demand.
